RE: What about people who have died and come back?

It's ironic that they seem to know more abouot the case, having never read the book. They have no idea the guy was in
in the hospital for almost a year. His head was in one of those Head casts that bolts go into your head, to keep it from moving. They have no idea, all they know, is God doesn't exist, no matter what happens.
You're proving my point, Ed. In the bible, Lazurus and the others were fully restored. They were not resurrected only to be left on their death beds. Apparently you did not read my post about that. So instead of being brought back from the dead, good as new, a valid miracle, he was "...in in the hospital for almost a year. His head was in one of those Head casts that bolts go into your head, to keep it from moving." There was no healing done at all. God apparently breathed just enough life back into him to keep him alive until the doctors could take care of him instead of healing and restoring him as he did in the bible.
If this man had been dead for an hour and a half, his brain would be mush and his body would have gone through some serious changes that take place when a dead body is left out in the sun for 90 minutes. You're telling me that god restored his brain and body just up to the point to where he was alive and then stopped? Your god has apparently gotten lazy with his miracles.

And all you know is that god DOES exist, no matter what happens. It is so much more logical, sensible, and easy to believe that there was simply a human error made here than to believe that a mystical god performed a miracle, restoring this man's life but not healing him beyond that. But to accept reason and admit that maybe this isn't a miracle would cause you to question your whole belief that you have structured your life around and that is unacceptable to you. There is actually a possibility of changing my mind and making me believe in god. It's not likely, but it's a possibility. With you there is no possibility of change. You have decided to believe in god and refuse to accept even the possibility that he does not exist. You are the one who will not listen no matter what you hear.
