Funny how Wal-mart went from buy American to BUY CHEAP. I despise setting foot in the place.

If we study the lives of great men and women carefully and unemotionally we find that, invariably, greatness was developed, tested and revealed through the darker periods of their lives. One of the largest tributaries of the RIVER OF GREATNESS is always the STREAM OF ADVERSITY.

Every time I need someone to help me at Wal-Mart, it seems like I have to walk across to the opposite side of the store to find anyone who works there. You end up in Lawn and Garden trying to get help with the toddlers' clothes.

RE: Wal Marts is the devils supermarket.

My mother lives in a small town and shops at the Wal-Mart in a nearby town. A couple of weeks ago she went with a friend to get some gardening stuff. She was looking at some plants and they were not marked (big surprise). So she called an employee over and asked how much the plant was. The lady said, in an irritated tone, that the plants were all marked. My mother politely pointed out that it wasn't and that's why she called her over there. So the lady starts to pick it up and exclaims that it is heavy. My mother just stared at her blankly. So the lady scuffles off with the plant and in the mean time my mom and her friend find several other plants that were not marked. So the employee comes back and tosses the plant down and tell them the price and turns to walk off. "Wait", my mother said, "We found some more without prices". The lady spins around and says sharply, "Well why didn't you tell me that before I left the first time!" So my mother, having her fill of the helpful employee, walked away in search of the manager. She finally finds one, and do you know what he says to her? He says, "Well why don't you try working in the heat all day!"

Are you kidding me? This is how they treat their customers? They don't care anymore. They know people are going to shop there regardless. Wal-Mart sucks!Rolleyes

Hi Gabby I hope you have been doing well. I think they intentionally leave prices off with the thought that most will haul the product up to the cash register to find the price then feel obligated to go ahead and buy it.I read a Readers Digest article several years ago about the specialist in marketing and a lot of the tricks they come up with so to keep informed on the practice you must study as hard as they do to defend your own interest.
