After I spent $2000 on one after the illustrious sales pitch it didn't even work ONE DAY.
My sleep number is 35...when I woke up my mattress had deflated and it was on 5. I was sleeping in a trench in my own bed. My husband had rolled over on top of me. No, I'm not a fatty. Of course I called the store and they told me all these band-aid fix-its and none of them worked. Now, I have 30 days to return it and they keep trying to tell me to try this and that...it takes 5-7 days for this to work..blah blah blah. Gee, I wonder if they are trying to take up my return time? AND FOR $2000 I SHOULDN"T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING IT SHOULD JUST WORK.
Now that I've decided to return it they will come over and box it up and haul it away for... ANOTHER $200!!!
I want to chop it into pieces and throw it through their front window!!!
NEVER BUY A SLEEP NUMBER MATTRESS!!! I AM PISSED!! IT IS A GLORIFIED AIR MATTRESS!!

Where did you buy it from? Didn't it come with some kind of warranty or money-back guarantee that doesn't include you paying for it? That's absolutely ridiculous! Keep making phone calls and climb the seniority ladder until you start getting the respect and customer service that consumers deserve. Thanks for the tip and good luck with this.
I can't believe that! What a joke! I agree with lde, keep climbing till you get satisfaction, if there really is any at this point. Thanks for the post, I had been thinking about getting one of those.
I bought it at a store in Clear Lake. It has a 20 YEAR WARRANTY but they only allow 30 days to return it to get my money back. The pick up fee has nothing to do with the warranty.
I also forgot to add...on top of my $2000 they charged $150 to put it together.
They are going to come get it tomorrow. But, I'll tell y'all one thing right now: I'm not paying no damn $200.
I went and googled the phrase "Complaints about Sleep Number Mattresses" and literally pages and pages popped up of people saying the same things I have. Some people were strung along so long it passed the 30 day period and now they can't get their money back. They are stuck with a defective bed and can't afford to replace it.
The moral of this story is...check out anything before you buy. Consumer Reports is the best. I learned my lesson but thankfully I can get the majority of my money back less $150.
