Six hospital employees disciplined in ER death

What is wrong with people??? A crowd of patients, hospital staff, a security officer, and anyone watching the security camera all watched this woman lie on the floor, convulse, and eventually die over more than a half hour period! When she tried to get up, she was stuck between a couple chairs and no one would even just scoot a chair over and help her up. And where did it happen? In a hospital emergency room of all places. Sick.

I heard about this in the car on my way to work. I'm still in shock.

RE: Six hospital employees disciplined in ER death

Have any of you seen the movie Idiocracy with Luke Wilson? This sounds like a scene in that movie. It is set 500 years in the future and stupid people have outbred the intelligent people and have ruined the world.

When I read about things like this I don't think it will take 500 years, I think it is happening now.

Wow, I'd like to see that movie. Seems to me that intelligent people would outbreed the stupid people though. I mean I would imagine stupid people die more easily and more often, ya know? Then again, maybe a lot of intelligent people die at the fault of stupid people. Hmmm... should we be having this converstation? It feels politically incorrect lol.
