Seismographic Survey

Would anyone happen to know what the property owners rights are where seismographic testing is concerned? They are wanting to test in my pasture where my Livestock are located, and I'm not too wild on the ideal, and was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before? Do i have to grant them permission? Thanks!
