However, the greatest danger of this backsliding into the abyss of ignorance, this 21st century version of the Dark Ages, where emotions and self-satisfaction constantly trump logic and intelligence, is that Democrats may never again lose a presidential election."

That was really good CK. So sad, but so true. Someone said the other day, that if we get rid of all the illegals, then kids can start mowing lawns again. That would solve the illegal problem and kids would start getting exercise and maybe not be so fat. What ever happened to kids mowing lawns? That used to be what boys did in the summer for spending money. When I was in school, I only remember a couple of fat kids, and they were twins. Of course, we didn't have video games and computers.

I know what you mean BYS. Every Saturday my older brother mowed, dad edged the sidewalks, and I swept and weeded the garden. Some of my friends mowed for money, but I had the privilege of mowing for food........
