OK, so my husband and I built a house and we were supposed to close last Friday, well here it is going on close of business day the nest Wednesday and still no date to close.

There have been all kinds of last minute things that supposedly just somehow fell through the cracks and keep putting us off. IE...the appraisal, survey, having to pay off another loan before we can close then do a rapid rescore......yada yada yada....blah blah blah.

This is our first house and I am telling you it is the most stressful thing I have ever done!!

Has anyone ever heard of any of this? Im getting very frustrated and need some reassurance soon before I loose my mind!

No worries (yeah right), i think it's pretty normal. A couple of years ago I had bought a townhome and not only did the closing date change like 4 times, but even the day of the time changed several times and I went through the same thing with loans, and paperwork yada yada yada...it was one of the most stressful things i had ever been through! but in the end it was all good and worth all the hassel. So, hang in there MoMmY! =)
