Pentagon advisor: Obama 'snubs' wounded soldiers

Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 7/31/2008 7:00:00 AM

Questions surround Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's decision not to visit a major U.S. military medical facility during his recent visit to Germany.

Pentagon advisor Lt. Colonel Bob Maginnis (USA-Ret.) does not know for certain why the presidential hopeful chose not to visit the facility, but the senior Army strategist knows what most reports are saying.

Maginnis had the unique perspective of being in Germany during the Illinois senator's highly publicized visit, including his address before 200,000 people in Berlin. And in a recent column in Human Events, he touched upon an element of the trip that did not create a great deal of good public relations for the Obama campaign -- something Maginnis refers to as the "snub."

He says Obama's campaign scrapped a side trip to visit wounded American troops at Landstuhl Medical Center, the largest U.S. medical facility outside the United States. "The Pentagon said that he had clearance to go there, but he had to abide by Defense Department regulations -- which basically means you can't take campaign people and cameras in there to visit wounded soldiers," said Maginnis.

Maginnis alleges Obama was in "campaign mode" and that the presidential candidate did not stop due to the fact that his publicists and camera crews could not follow him. "If that's the case, that's disgraceful," he comments.

He thinks Americans should be offended that a man aspiring to be commander-in-chief would shun wounded Americans in order to spend more time fawning socialists and their media.

Obama will be shot in the head and survive it.

The antichrist will be popular and flocked by the leg huggers and survive a gun shot wound.

RE: Pentagon advisor: Obama 'snubs' wounded soldiers

Snubbing the troops should come as no surprise. He has a long history of hanging with anti-Americans, including an unrepentant terrorists. The main stream media of course is not covering his past sins. They want him to be our next president, that much is obvious.

We can only hope this information gets out before the election.
There's a new book that came out yesterday.."Obama Nation". The author spent 2 years researhing Obama's past. Talk about anti –America!!! It talks about all of Obama’s anti-American friends during the last 20 years. They were his friends of course up until that flavor of South Side Chicago politics didn’t work on the national scene and he dropped them like a hot potato. But this type of politics is what gets one elected in the south side of Chicago.

Jerome R. Corsi
looks into Barack Obama's history, what little there is, and highlights how Obama's current rhetoric is hardly in synch with this man's past. As one of the most liberal US Senators and one who has been part of a "church" that seems more anti-American or more interested in wallowing in black resentment than worshiping God, Dr. Corsi isn't the only one wondering who Senator Obama really is. Obama's life is an interesting one, full of a number of achievements, but it is one that raises a number of questions about this man who is not far from occupying the Oval Office. In many ways, Senator Obama is an unknown quantity, well he is unknown for those who aren't interested in knowing anything about him. For some his rhetoric is more important than his deeds, beliefs, inclinations, history. Others who are interested in the latter would find this book by Dr. Corsi worthwhile, to see what an Obama White House might mean. Cheers

If this guy gets in office, we're in deep trouble.
