I know I'll be rooting for him. His portrayal of the Joker looks nothing short of amazing. I read that before they started shooting, he had locked himself up in his apartment for a month to prepare for the role. And while on the set, he stayed in character and would only answer to "Joker". They say that the stress and burden that he put on himself in undertaking the role was indirectly part of what led to his death. I really hope he gets the Oscar.
I really hope he gets it. He was an amazing actor that hardly anybody knew about. I, for one, can't wait to see the movie. I think he's going to blow everyone away.
