Comcast complaints and horror stories

You know, I never was a big fan of Time Warner. I had my share of problems with them. But since Comcast took over, I've really been missing Time Warner. We've had nothing but trouble, from poor customer service to not being able to view On Demand stuff because it's "not available at this time". I recently upgraded my cable package to include every channel except the sports packages and the hispanic stations and now we've apparently lost the "preview" feature for all the On Demand movies. We used to be able to surf the movies and then watch the trailers and decide what we wanted to see. Now we just have to buy it and hope we like it. Well, actually I end up watching the trailer online, but it sure was more convenient to just watch the trailer on tv. I feel like we're paying more money to lose valuable features.

This is just one example and the tip of the iceberg. I was wondering if you all had the same bad experiences that I've had since Comcast took over. Any complaints out there?

Comcast sucks dude! I've had nothing but trouble. I recently looked into getting satellite but to do that I have to pay the complex like $250 dollar for deposit and prove I have renters insurance! So screw it. I'll just keep paying for sucky cable and enjoy all my shows constantly cutting out, and my movies not being available, and like Dorian said...no previews, along with a slew of other problems I have with it!

That's Comcasitc!! Sad

I haven't had any trouble until this week. We upgraded to HD a few months ago and have been enjoying it except for the freeze ups during your favorite freaking shows. I called this morning and it was busy. Called back later to listen to the canned recording: Houston area is experiencing problems. Is that us?Sad

Probably. We've been experiencing a lot of "glitchy" tv lately. I was watching Raymond yesterday and I finally had to turn it off, it was screwing up so bad. Last night it was messing up during American Idol and lorilou said that while she was trying to watch the season finale of NCIS it was just displaying a message asking for her to wait a moment.

I have satellite tv and it was glitchy yesterday for no apparent reason.
