Baytown is dead

Baytown is dead. I think I will invite a bunch of people from other countries here to let them see what happens when the industry packs up and goes elsewhere leaving a university ,a tax collection system and a newspaper.

RE: Baytown is dead

I went to Witt Marine today because I found it by Google. They are supposed to sell Mercury outboard motor parts. It is on the end of Texas Ave near the library.I looked through the window of the front door. The sign says open but nobody was inside and the door was locked. That giant oak tree in the middle of the street. They ripped the concrete street up all around it. When so many people close up their business I wonder where the city gets the money to build streets? So I went to the library. I noticed there is a whole lot more fiction and romance books than any on technical things.
