Atheist Debate Reference

DMeissler, does a good job of collecting the key talking points for atheists when debating against religion. This is a good read all around.

I just prefer to tell people of the good in God and leave them to choose. You will never take away a man's faith with these posts. But you will continue to reinforce your own negativity in life.Just my observation.

George you never post about the negative influence religion/God has on the "masses" and our society. If that were your real motive for posting here you would post on the topic, but you don't.You're obsessed with proving there is no God and justifying your non-belief.

RE: Atheist Debate Reference

Wow... of all people I thought YOU would read my posts. I may not start threads on the harmful effects of religion on the masses, but I've definitely talked about it in other threads, numerous times. Me justifying my atheism would mean that it is being called into question, or that I feel I need to defend it. This is not the case. I was simply posting a good reference that counters a lot of the claims of Christianity. I know what you're trying to do though. You're trying to say, "Hey, look at the atheist trying to justify his beliefs... isn't this proof that he's just denying an obvious inclination towards some type of higher power. He's just being rebellious." I've heard this from you before. So either get over the fact that I wish to post things like this to share with other people on here who don't buy into your mumbo jumbo, or keep on being a religious prick. Either way, I'll continue to post in the manner that I do.

RE: Atheist Debate Reference

What is interesting is George is not an atheist, George believes in God.

He proves this with each post he makes.

George would not feel compelled to disprove Gods existence if he did not, to begin with, believe he existed.
Life seems to have disappointed George so now he blames God for this heartache and is only risking eternity by denying the truth.
Do not let satan's minions rob you of your rightful place in the kingdom of Heaven.
If there is no Jesus, george, No problem, I have nothing to worry about, but if Jesus is the way, I would not want to be George. He he
Have a great night and do not let that silver cord break before your search for the truth is complete.

G
Satan is a "person" in the Bible that does whatever is possible to keep people from God.
You seem to have the same mission.

PS,.IN order to keep people from God, one must believe God exists. Satan Believes he does. I think you do too George.

And we're back to scare tactics to bring people to Christ. Come to Christ and give your life and will to god. After all, better safe than sorry. You don't want to burn in hell on the offchance that hell exists.

So G is trying to convince the Christians that there is no god, and the Christians are trying to convince G that not only does god exist, but that even G believes in him and apparently just doesn't know it. Interesting.
