I posted this on another thread, but it seemed very fitting here also.
Geremy, this is why I, as a Christian, cannot accept or embrace homosexuality.
Romans 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting...
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also APPROVE OF THOSE WHO PRACTICE THEM.
I have a cousin who is gay and I have had good friends who were gay. I loved them, but I do not approve of their lifestyle.

None of this will matter after Obama makes president. We do not have a choice anymore as of today. Less another black politician gets whacked like all before him.

(06-02) 19:24 PDT Sacramento - -- A constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage in California was placed on the Nov. 4 ballot Monday, kick-starting an election struggle that will have repercussions across the nation.
Secretary of State Debra Bowen's certification of the initiative, which would amend the state Constitution to limit marriage to a union between a man and a woman, comes as no surprise to either side of the same-sex marriage issue.
When backers of the initiative, who needed 694,354 valid signatures to make the ballot, turned in more than 1.1 million signatures, the only question was when the certification would come.

We'll see how "the people" end up voting on this initiative.
Carwash, to hope assassination is a horrible thing. To hope for the killing of black people is also horrible. How do you sleep at night?
BYS, I understand your position on homosexuality and why you think it is a perversion.
A) How do you explain other species having homosexual tendenceis?
B) Why would your god allow the minds of even children to be "given" over to a "perversion" such as homosexuality. I know a man who had told me that even at age 10, he knew that he was gay. Why would your omnipotent god allow children to be perverted, if it is a sinful tresspass?

I'm not surprised at all that they would get the signatures needed, as the gay population is fairly dense.......
"San Francisco has the highest percentage of same-sex households of any American county, with the Bay Area having a higher concentration than any other metropolitan area.[86] Gay men outnumber lesbians; it has been estimated that one in five male city residents over the age of 15 is gay.[87]"

Go back and look again, I didn't say that at all, you did.
I'm not going to ask why, I do wonder though for us to allow gays, lesbians and same sex marriages in the constitution over the Bible our one instruction book that doesn't change by signatures.
I'll go to my grave not mad at them, just not one of them.
